The adoption fee includes:
- Spay/neuter surgery for dogs, cats and rabbits.
- Recommended vaccinations.
- Microchip and registration.
- Initial worming.
If adopting a cat or small animal, a carrier is available for purchase at the Seattle Animal Shelter for an additional $6. You are welcome to bring your own carrier at the time of adoption.
Gold/FLASH card discount
A 50 percent discount on adoption fees for all animals and altered license fees is available for seniors (over 60 years) and people with disabilities who have a Gold or FLASH card.
